Install Drift

Drift feels best as an app: full screen, no browser bar, its own icon on your home screen. It is the same Drift, so sign in once and your trails come with you. Here is how, in a few taps.

iPhone or iPad (Safari)

  1. Open usedrift.org in Safari (this only works in Safari, not Chrome or in-app browsers).
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) in the toolbar.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add in the top right. Drift appears on your home screen with its own icon.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open usedrift.org in Chrome. You may see an “Install app” prompt appear on its own. If so, tap it and you are done.
  2. Otherwise, tap the ⋮ menu in the top right.
  3. Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app).
  4. Confirm with Add / Install. Drift lands on your home screen with its own icon.

Open Drift from its new icon and sign in once. It launches full screen, like any other app, and your account keeps everything in sync across your phone and computer.
